Deviated septum health advice

An ENT told me to do a saline rinse, but I have a deviated septum. My ears fill up so that when I sing all of the sudden in one ear or another I feel like I am in a hall, I can not hear myself. It could ruin my career. Help!

Deviated septum can be a complication in sinusitis. Sinus management plan often suggests using a salt water rinse. I believe you are a singer by profession since you are worried that saline water rinse fills up your ears and could ruin your career. You would need health advice on your particular condition. I would strongly suggest that you speak to your ENT about this. Surgery for deviated septum repair may be an option for you – either FESS or polypectomy operations are suggested for deviated nasal septum and have excellent results, though both have chances of recurrence. Please consult your ENT about all this for the best guidance.
