Appendicitis symptoms Appendicitis is a condition caused when your appendix is swollen. The most common symptom of Appendicitis is a pain in the stomach. To begin with the pain is like the discomfort you experience when you are suffering from indigestion.
Several people mistake it for a tummy upset and confess that they assumed they had developed 'gas'. The initial reaction to these symptoms is to try all the remedies related to a stomach 'condition'. One way of identifying an appendicitis is that despite several remedies the pain does not diminish, only gets worse.
It is generally concentrated in the region of the navel. You will find that walking only worsens the pain. You will prefer lying immobile since this helps block out the paint. A person suffering from Appendicitis complains of lack of appetite. A feeling of nausea persists, accompanied by a low grade fever. The pain intensifies and moves into the right lower abdomen.
You will have realized why it is so difficult to diagnose people suffering from an inflamed appendix. The symptoms of this condition are similar to those of a stomach upset, gas, even an infection. An unattended, inflamed appendix can be dangerous. If the pain in your stomach persists despite all your attempts at home remedies, then it is advisable that you contact your medical practitioner about your symptoms.
