It is recommended that you wear loose cotton underwear and ensure that your vaginal area is clean and dry. Use lukewarm water and a pH balanced soap to wash the area. If the odor is not caused by an infection, treat the problem with a vinegar and water douche. Add a few of drops of tree oil to a dish of water and applying the solution to your vagina. Tea tree oil can cause burning on the skin for some people and it is essential that you test your reaction to it.
