Menopause Information. Menopause occurring at the age of 26 after childbirth is a very rare occurrence, but not an impossible or improbable one. Till about recently doctors were not entirely convinced that menopause could occur before the age of 40. But an increasing number of women are fast approaching menopause at younger ages. Symptoms, however, need to be checked to know for sure if it’s really menopause that one is going through. Sometimes thyroid disturbances, diabetes or low blood sugar have some indications common to menopause.
Especially after a prolonged illness such as chicken pox or measles, etc. the body sometimes go through a condition known as Peri-Menopause. Peri Menopause only indicates that your hormones have gone all awry considering that your body has been shocked beyond its wits from the reeling. Becoming groggy, peevish, having skipped or erratic periods, facial eruptions or thinning hair, all point towards Peri Menopause.
In any case, childbirth causes a huge upheaval in a woman's body. The diverse forms of chemical and hormonal irregularities sometimes induce symptoms that can be mistaken for menopause, and only a professional diagnosis, comprising a complete physical and a hormone check (by blood testing) would be a definite requisite of exactly what one is really going through.
