Natural Remedies for Blackheads.

A thick paste of fresh fenugreek leaves applied on the face and blackhead areas every night for half an hour or till the paste dries up is a perfect remedy to weed out those blackheads from within. Further more, fenugreek prevents further buildup of blackheads in the particular region and hence it can safely be used for a week or so on the same region.

Even simple honey can be used as prevention towards blackhead. A tablespoon of honey warmed and gently applied on the blackheads should stay on the spot for 15 - 20 minutes and then washed with cool water. A well-known and popular solution for blackheads is a good spread of a teaspoon of finely ground cinnamon powder mixed with a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

The mixture acts as a scrub or scour that not only helps remove stubborn blackheads but also prevents new ones from reprising.

Another efficient method, which may come across as slightly messy would be to apply a beaten egg-white on the affected area and allowed to dry. While washing the face with water the face should be lightly scrubbed with a clean piece of turkish towel to gently lift and remove the blackheads.
