Home remedy to get rid of flies

Try these home remedies: You can pour hot boiling water along with a strong cleaning detergent down your drain to eliminate nuisance gnats and flies. A potted basil plant or lavender plant in the house will repel flies and mosquitos. Herb experts claim that if you want to use the barbeque and flies keep bugging you, a herb called Citronella Grass planted around the barbeque is very helpful in keeping flies away.
