Homemade facial toners

The best way to maintain glowing skin is to regularly and diligently undertake a proper skin care regime, which consists of cleansing, toning, and moisturizing your face. A facial toner cleans impurities and removes oils from your face. It tones your skin by restricting pores and decreasing the occurrence of wrinkles. There are a number of toners that you can make at home to effectively tone your skin. Choosing the right kind of toner is also very important and you must ensure that the toner suits your skin type.

To prepare a very mild toner, you can try chamomile tea. Place one tea bag in a 100 ml of hot water and allow it to stand for five minutes. Do not use this as rinse but sip a cotton ball in the tea instead and apply all over your face. To make an apple and honey facial toner, blend one peeled and cored apple with some honey. Remove from the blender and apply to your face. Allow it to remain on your face for ten to fifteen minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. If you have sensitive skin, you can prepare a facial toner by combining one chamomile tea bag, one green tea bag, 2 large bunches of mint in 3 cups of water. Bring these ingredients to a boil and allow it to stand for a little while. You should then mix equal parts of distilled water with this mixture in a spray bottle and use as desired.
