Health advice on eye mucus

There are a number of reasons you might be suffering from watery eyes which include infection and eye dryness. You could also be suffering from this condition if there is any foreign material present in your eye. Since you have been suffering for so many years, it is very important that you consult with your doctor or primary health care provider immediately and identify the problem.

Other reasons can include severe allergies and anything from pollen to dust could be causing these allergies. Once you identify what is causing your watery eyes, you must strictly avoid the substances that you are allergic to. Watery eyes could also occur as a symptom of hay fever which is a kind of nasal allergy.

If you get watery eyes only at a certain time of the year, either in the fall or in the spring, accompanied by a runny nose and itching in the eyes, you might be suffering from hay fever.

To combat watery eyes, you could start taking Vitamin C supplements because that will build up your immune system and help you fight any allergies. Vitamin C is also beneficial against hay fever. In addition, you could also be deficient in nutrients. It has been proven that a lack of Omega 3 fatty acid can cause watery eyes. You can overcome this deficiency by increasing your intake of flaxseed. You can also try homeopathic medicines, such as allium cepa and Natrum muriaticum to treat allergy problems with watery eyes.
