Natural treatment for excessive sweating

There are many reasons for perspiration, which can result in much discomfort and embarrassment. To make sure your excessive sweating is not a secondary result of some other medical condition, get a medical opinion on it. If the sweating is not a consequence of some other medical condition but is the primary problem then there are some simple remedies you can try to control it.

A blend of liquid chlorophyll (1 teaspoon) and sage (1 ml) ingested orally once a day can reduce the sweating. A teaspoonful of apple cider vinegar can also prove effective if taken 2-3 times a day. If the sweating is a result of an unbalanced diet rich in processed foods, dietary changes, including a shift to organic, fiber-rich foods that are free from chemical toxins can bring about the desired results.

Although perspiration itself is odor-free, it can react with bacteria on the body to create an unpleasant odor. To avoid this bathe 2-3 times a day, especially in the summer months, using a mild soap or cleanser. You can make an effective cleanser at home by mixing 30-40 drops of tea-tree oil or lavender oil to a mild liquid soap base. Both tea-tree oil and lavender oil are known for their anti-bacterial properties.
