Corn cures

A corn is nothing but thickened skin that develops on one particular spot on your foot. The soles of your feet take a lot of pressure and the skin there reacts to this pressure by developing a thick shield. When the pressure continues to be exerted, the thickened shield becomes tough.

At this point it becomes painful and requires removal. Corns can develop on various parts of your foot. The presence of some kind of friction results in the development of corns.

However, the development of these hard spots cannot always be linked to only reason. A visit to the doctor will help you identify the actual reasons for the development of this foot condition.

What you can do to cure corns, is to first check your footwear. Avoid wearing anything that is too tight or simply too uncomfortable.

In addition, you can try these remedies. Cut a round slice off a lemon. Tie it to the affected area before going to bed. The juice from the lemon will help you.

For another easy to follow remedy, grind three sticks of liquorices. Add a tablespoon of sesame or mustard oil to this. Now apply this paste to the affected area, just before going to bed.
