Home remedies for spots on skin
You haven't mentioned your age, but one possibility is age spots, also known as liver spots or sun spots. These spots are harmless and have nothing to do with the liver, but are related to age and sun exposure. Sun spots usually occur after the age of 40, mostly in people who spend a lot of time in the sun.
After this age, skin is less able to handle regular exposure to sunlight for long periods of time. The result is often spots of skin that are darker than the surrounding areas, mainly in places that are exposed to the sun, such as the face, neck, and hands. What you are seeing may also be hyperpigmentation, in which some areas of skin may produce excessive amounts of melanin following skin injuries such as acne.
You can try using either lemon or sour milk to get rid of these spots. Both will help lighten the darkened areas by gently peeling the upper layer of skin. Regular application of vitamin E oil and consumption of foods containing vitamin C should also help. If you follow these remedies and avoid too much exposure to sunlight, you should notice gradual improvement. Be aware however, that age spots are not the same thing as a simple tan, and the process will take a long time.
