A sebaceous cyst is a result of excessive grease or sebum that gets trapped in the gland. It’s likely that the cyst will get infected too.  Try to keep the surface clean by bathing with warm water and use saline solutions and avoid using any antiseptics.


  This will allow it to settle down.

• An effective home remedy for skin cysts is splashing lukewarm water that has been boiled in margosa leaves. Margosa has natural properties which cure skin related problems such as acne and pimples.
  
  
  You should boil margosa leaves in clean water, drain the leaves and use the water to slash it on the face 3 or four times in a day.
• Don’t squeeze or pick the cyst. If it isn’t painful or red the best thing to do is just let it be. An effective tip is to apply a warm compress. Place a clean cloth in warm water soak it for some time. Apply the cloth over the cyst it will ward off the irritation.
• Wash the cyst with a medicated mild soap and lukewarm water to regularly clean any grime that may get stuck on it. You can also dab some a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide.
