Gray hair remedies
One of my cousins son has grey hair at birth. What could be the cause of this?

Remedy for gray hair
- Grey hair in children could be the cause of premature graying and it might be associated with vitiligo, anemia or thyroid disorders. This indicates vitamin B-12 deficiency.
- Lack of pigment cells in the hair follicles results in gray hair at the time of birth.
- Cut and dry the pieces of the fruit called Indian Gooseberry in a shade. Boil these dried pieces in coconut oil till it chars and when it cools, apply all over the hair. It builds hair pigmentation and helps in hair growth.
- Soak dry indian gooseberry pieces in water overnight and rinse your hair with it after washing.
- Mix one teaspoon of indian gooseberry juice, one teaspoon of almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply it to your hair and wash it after sometime.
- Squeeze out the juice of the leaves of the vegetable called Amaranth and apply it regularly. This is a very effective remedy to cure gray hair and make it soft and shiny.
- Butter made of cow’s milk can be eaten to cure grey hair. It can also be massaged into the roots of the hair weekly.
- Include all the essential nutrients in the diet and avoid giving jams, pastries and jellies.
