Remedy for gray hair
  1. Grey hair in children could be the cause of premature graying and it might be associated with vitiligo, anemia or thyroid disorders. This indicates vitamin B-12 deficiency.
  2. Lack of pigment cells in the hair follicles results in gray hair at the time of birth.

  3. Cut and dry the pieces of the fruit called Indian Gooseberry in a shade. Boil these dried pieces in coconut oil till it chars and when it cools, apply all over the hair. It builds hair pigmentation and helps in hair growth.

  4. Soak dry indian gooseberry pieces in water overnight and rinse your hair with it after washing.
  5. Mix one teaspoon of indian gooseberry juice, one teaspoon of almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply it to your hair and wash it after sometime.
  6. Squeeze out the juice of the leaves of the vegetable called Amaranth and apply it regularly. This is a very effective remedy to cure gray hair and make it soft and shiny.
  7. Butter made of cow’s milk can be eaten to cure grey hair. It can also be massaged into the roots of the hair weekly.
  8. Include all the essential nutrients in the diet and avoid giving jams, pastries and jellies.
