The items that you have mentioned only cover your breakfast. Correct weight loss involves ascertaining the calorie intake of all your meals and the amount of exercise you get. It is a common misconception that just modifying the diet is the key to losing weight.
The truth is that weight loss is much more complicated and involves understanding what you eat and how fast you can burn off the calories.
Ragi is nutritionally very rich in proteins and vital nutrients. It is so popular that it is widely used throughout all the countries of the world as a nutritional supplement.
Considering that it is a good source or protein, this is a crucial element in weight loss. From the height and weight specifications that you have given, you need to concentrate on a diet that is protein rich and that reduces your fat and carbohydrate intake. To reduce your carbohydrate intake, you must switch to a fruit diet. Fruits contain the fruit sugar fructose which is a much more complex sugar, Fructose takes a bit more time to be digested and ready for the body to use. The theory is that you could fill your stomach but you will not have overloaded your system with carbohydrates. Fat enters the body through sources that include actual fatty foods like cheese and butter but also through the use of oil. While it is not prudent to stay off oils completely, try to change the oil that you use to one that is healthier like safflower oil or olive oil. Olive oil is one of the best substitutes as it can even help bring down cholesterol levels. The most important part you will have to deal with when trying to lose weight is to cut down meal portions.
Any good diet plan will dictate how many calories you should have per meal and that defines the portion of food that you eat in one sitting. This is inevitable. There is no “eat all you want, but eat healthy” diet that can truly claim to help one lose weight. Since you have not specified the portions that you are eating currently, a good rule of thumb is that you cut this by half. This will obviously make you feel hungry at a later point in the day. You can fight this feeling by drinking lots of water and nibbling on fruits through the day. Your exercise levels should also increase dramatically. Exercise is one the most efficient ways of losing weight and this sometimes is more effective than even having to go on a diet. Remember to exercise to the point where you are worn out and then start again when you refreshed.

Lose weight naturally
- You can eat cereals with milk without sugar for breakfast
- After getting up in the morning, drink one glass of warm water. You can drink it either plain or mix one teaspoon of honey and 2-3 drops of lemon juice in it.
- You can also breakfast on 2-3 ripe tomatoes or their juice.
- Sprouts are also ideal for breakfast.
- Snack on fat less products rather than fried ones.
- Try to steam or roast your food rather than frying them. Never deep fry or overcook your food.
- It would be preferable if you eat brown rice and brown sugar.
- Drink sugarless tea or coffee. Reduce their intake to two cups a day.
- Do not drink carbonated or aerated drinks or eat anything containing artificial sweetener. Avoid junk food.
- Exercise regularly and drink lots of water, soups and juices.
- Divide your meals into six small ones.
- Never overeat and always eat a little less than you want to. Do not go hungry or eat late. Maintain regular mealtimes.
- Do not sleep immediately after meals or overexert yourself.
- Eat more of vegetables, salads and pulses as your main diet rather than large quantities of rice or bread.
- Drink less of alcohol and stop smoking completely.
- Try to remain positive and follow a routine lifestyle.
- Getting at least seven to eight hours of sleep is very important to maintain weight. Exercising without a proper sleep might have a negative impact on your health.
