Fever blister cures

Fever blisters, also referred to as cold blisters, are sores that appear in the mouth of a person suffering from herpes virus. These fever blisters are noticed either on the mouth or sometimes, in the area around the mouth. Fever blisters are caused when herpes simplex virus, which have been dormant in your body, are activated.

Since there could be other reasons to explain the appearance of these blisters, it is always advisable to get a confirmation of the diagnosis from your doctor.

Fever blisters are often red in color and contain a clear liquid. They develop a scab in a few days.

However, they are often painful and you may experience a burning or tingling sensation. Avoid eating peanuts, chocolates, wheat products, nuts of any kind and oatmeal.

When your fever blisters tingle, apply some aloe vera gel. This will provide relief from the burning sensation.
You can also use a cold pack to provide relief. You can hold some ice cubes to the affected area.
When you suffer from fever blisters it is a good idea to eat food that has a rich content of iron. Eat lots of vegetables and green leafy vegetables. Consume lots  of fruits during their period and you will find that your fever blisters will subside.
