Tension remedy Stress and tension are the products of our hectic lifestyles. Everyone is trying to do much, too soon and something has to give. Very often one of the first things to be affected is a person's sense of equilibrium. People lose their tempers and find themselves irritated by trivial incidents. This affects their performance at work and their behavior at home.
You can calm yourself down by learning to do some yoga or meditation. Find a good trainer who will help you relax. A long soak in hot water helps to ease away all the tension of a working day. You can also try to work out or jog in order to relieve the tensions. Listening to music is another good way to unwind. If your stress is work related, then try to divert your attention away from these problems when you are at home. Take up some hobby that will help you forget your worries and let you relax.
Include plenty of yoghurt in your diet. Pour boiling water over one spoon of sage leaves. Let this steep for a little while. Now strain it. You can add a spoonful of honey, if you like. Drinking a cup of warm milk at bedtime will help you relax. Avoid smoking and drinking too much tea or coffee.
