Home Cure for high blood pressure
If you have a blood pressure of 140/90 mm Hg or above, you are at a risk of heart diseases, strokes and other complications.
- Plan and chart out a completely salt-free diet regime. This should be done to reduce the blood pressure level. All kinds of salt, sodium and soda should be removed from your diet.
- You need to eat to eat a very high fiber diet. Oat bran is a very good source of fiber.
- Green vegetables and fresh fruits are fibrous food varieties.
- Drink plenty of fruit juices and minimum eight to ten glasses of distilled water.
- Exercise to maintain optimum weight.
- Go on fasting for two or three days a month to help detoxify your body.
- Avoid alcohol, tobacco and caffeine.
- Consume two tablespoons of flaxseed oil everyday. Pickles, hot spices and fats should be eliminated from the diet.
- Do not eat high protein food or self medicate yourself for common cold, flu or sleeplessness.
- Foods such as aged cheese, meats, chocolate, sour cream, yogurt or any kind of processed food should be avoided.
- Keep monitoring your blood pressure every three to four months. If you find anything amiss in your medical condition, immediately consult your physician. Hypertension always does not show symptoms.
