Intestinal worms treatment

Dear expert - I have a problem in my intestine. Every time I use toilet I pass flat and small worms. I have taken vermizole (albendazole) many times, but the medicine does not get rid of the worm. What can I do?

Intestinal worms treatment

Intestinal worms or parasites are micro-organisms that live in the intestines. Parasite infection spreads through contaminated water, fruits and vegetables, poultry, fish or meat. It can also spread by walking barefoot in the garden with infected soil. Some of the most common symptoms are diarrhoea, vaginal irritation, joint pain, nervous diseases, fatigue, runny nose, blisters on the lower lip inside the mouth, headaches, or variations in blood sugar levels. People with parasitic infection may feel bloated and hungry. These symptoms may vary for individuals.

Several herbal remedies are helpful in eradicating parasitic infection. On an empty stomach, take a mixture of black walnut leaves, wormwood, cloves and male fern to help fight infection. Another herbal remedy that works well is a blend of 3 parts of capsicum, 2 parts of wormwood and 1 part of sage. The following are some easy remedies that you can try at home:

  • Take a cup of grated carrot in the morning, an hour before breakfast, for five to six days.
  • Take papaya juice with 1 teaspoon of honey in the morning.
  • Increase your intake of coconut and garlic, as they are good in fighting parasitic infection.
