Natural Remedies for high BP

Hypertension is another name for high BP and you will be surprised to know that often people suffer from this condition without being aware of it! The arteries that carry blood to your heart sometimes become narrow. This makes it difficult for the blood to flow and puts great pressure on the heart. High blood pressure can cause long term problems if it is not treated. It can lead to stroke, kidney failure and even a heart attack.

Controlling your diet and ensuring that you get sufficient exercise is one of the first things that you will need to do. Try and cut down on meat. Eat healthy food and avoid consuming too much salt. Avoid drinking too much tea and coffee. If you are a smoker, then cut down on smoking. Stay calm. You can try doing some meditation to help you achieve some serenity.
Eat at least one fresh garlic everyday, and include garlic in your daily food. Powder 100gms of melon seed along with the same quantity of poppy seed. You can store this mixture and eat one spoon of it every morning, with one glass of water. You can also soak about 10-15 fenugreek seeds in water overnight, and eat these in the morning.
