Prevention of Wrinkles
Wrinkles are mainly caused due to old age and dry skin. It is said that the formation of wrinkles is a sign of natural aging process but yet you can get rid of these wrinkles in your 60s if you take care of your skin in your 20s. So, here I have some of the good prevention remedies for wrinkles:
- If you are a daily smoker then quit your smoking because smoking stimulates photo aging.
- Protect yourself from excessive exposure to sun rays as these rays especially the ultra violet rays penetrates deep within our skin and damages the tissues, promoting wrinkles. You can apply some good sun screen when going out in the sun.
- Drinking alcohol is a root cause of various health disorders. It also results in dehydration and promotes wrinkles. So, if you are addicted to alcohol, try to get rid of the addiction.
- Drink plenty of water and other liquids such as vegetable soups, fruit juices and milk. Liquids hydrate your body and helps in maintaining the texture and complexion of your skin.
- Incorporate healthy dietary habits. Eat more of fruits, vegetable and protein rich foods. Eat more of spinach, sprouts, guava, papaya, broccoli, cantaloupe, mangoes, pineapple and asparagus as these foods have antioxidant properties that can help fight body infections and regulate all essential body functions.
- Eat foods rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C and Vitamin E as these also have antioxidant properties. These properties help in deactivating the harmful effects of free radicals that causes a loss in skin elasticity which eventually leads to wrinkles. Vitamin rich diet or vitamin supplements can ensure prevention of wrinkles.
