Vitamins for warm body
Is there a vitamin that I can take to keep me warm? I'm always cold!

You can combat the cold by planning a balanced diet. Here are some simple tips to keep warm and beat the cold.
- A healthy diet: In order for your body to fight the cold you need to maintain a balanced diet.
There are some foods that are especially good for winter and serve to keep the body warm. Foods such as potatoes, bread, beans, milk, eggs, fish and meat contain energy, protein, and vitamins that will keep you healthy and warm. - Ginseng tea, ginger duck and sweet dumplings are all tonics that assist to maintain the body warm.
Spicy seasoning keeps helps keep cold temperature at bay. This is because spices boost blood circulation. - - Eat foods that contain Naicin.or Vitamin B3. Naicin is necessary for healthy functioning of nervous system, and proper protein and carbohydrate metabolism. Some valuable sources are liver, fish, wheat, green leafy vegetables, nuts, sunflower seeds and peanuts.
- Vitamin C is essential for maintainenece of body tissues specially those of the bones, joints, and teeth. Consume foods rich in Vitamin C to help prevent colds or flu. It is advisable you increase the intake of foods rich vitamin C daily throughout the winter.
- Some excellent sources are Citrus fruits, gooseberry, green grams, and green vegetables.
- Vitamin D is important for bone and teeth formation and the meatbolism of phosphorous and calcium. You will get Vitamin D for the rays of th sun, sprouted seeds and butter.
