the skin on my lips cracks and goes hard and when wet goes soft and comes off and are very puffy all the time do you have any idea what i can do and why it is happening

The cause of your chapped lips can be the following:
Over exposure to the weather around you be it the cold wind or the hot sun
You might also be allergic to the cosmetics you use. Try changing them and see the result
Dehydration : You body is not getting enough water for it to keep the lips soft and supple. Drink minimum of 8 to 10 glasses of water daily
Harmful chemicals present in soap also cause cracked lips.
Try switching to an herbal soap.
Smoking can have a terrible effect on your lips
Vitamin deficiency
Not to worry, here’s what can be done with home remedies
Do not, I repeat do not lick or bite your lips as it only worsens the condition
