Severe cold home remedy
I am 30 years old lady i am having severe cold please suggest me good home remedies

Increase the intake of Iron rich foods. A lack of iron alters the thyroid and metabolic rate. And this is the mechanism which regulates body heat.
Some of the Iron rich foods like lentils, green leafy veggies, red meat, poultry and fish. Drink lots of orange juice daily. It helps in improving the body’s ability to absorb iron.
Following are a few home remedies to ward off severe cold.
- Put 1 gallon of distilled water in a large pan. Add softened ginger root, seedless raisins and honey. Boil this mixture and let it simmer for an hour. Once it has cooled down strain and cover it with a tight lid. Leave it overnight in a refrigerator. This is a delicious cold remedy that will help you get rid of symptoms of cold. Besides it will also clean up your system form toxins. The next morning squeeze the juice of 6 lemons and 4 oranges into the mixture. Mix the drink and consume 2-3 glasses of it daily.Dosage: 1/4 pound seedless raisins, 3 ounces ginger root, 6 lemons, 4 oranges 3 cups of honey and 1 gallon of distilled water
- Drink lots of Royal Herbal Tea as it effective in the treatment of severe cold. Mix all the herbs into a paste and pour 1 pint of boiling water in a bowl. Add 2-1/2 tablespoons of the herbal paste. Cover the bowl with a lid and wait for10 minutes. Strain the drink into a cup and sweeten with honey as per your desire. Drink a cup every 2-3 hours.
- Dosage: 3-4 tablespoons of dried pennyroyal, 3-4 tablespoons of dried verbena, 3-4 tablespoons of catnip, 3-4 tablespoons of dried sage, 3-4 tablespoons of white yarrow.
