Here are a few tips to relieve you from tension
  • Relaxation - You must gain control over your nervous system to direct the emotional and mental energy into a harmonious and restful activity.  Relaxation allows the muscles to get rid off fatigue. It promotes blood circulation in the body.  One of the best way to relax is to practice yoga.  The ‘dead pose’ is one of the stretches in Yoga therapy which helps relieve tension and anxiety.
  • Meditation - In meditation you learn to train you mind to focus on a particular internal or external point. Practicing meditation will create a balance in nervous system by directing your mental faculties to the object of meditation. Maintain the regularity of time and place for better results.
  • Yoga - You will find relief for you upper back by following the disciplines of yoga. To retain each yoga posture involves slow and deep breathing. This helps increase the oxygen supply in the body and glands. Practice yoga regularly to enjoy the benefits. Yoga enhances breathing and helps in relaxing the body. The yoga postures and stretches release tension from large muscle groups. There is an increase in blood circulation all throughout the body that fills the brain with fresh blood, oxygen and other nutrients. You will experience a sense of well-being.
  • Laughter therapy - Research shows that laughter helps in relaxing the body, improves the immune system, and enhances problem-solving abilities. A hearty laugh is like internal jogging. You breathe more deeply and the face and neck feel relaxed.
Make an effort to look at the lighter side of things. This will naturally help relieve tension and pain. You will benefit from taking things in your stride.
