Home Remedies for Acidity
Acidity is one such ailment which can easily be controlled through self care. It can be aggravated due to the use of antibiotic medicines, prolonged hunger, spicy foods, hot foods, irritants and tea or coffee. You can follow the health advice for controlling and curing it.
Soak some ginger roots in lemon juice before your meals and chew on it afterwards. You can repeat this process for each of your meals. Take 1 tsp of ginger juice with 1 tsp of honey 1 hour before your every meal.
Drink coconut water and buttermilk during the day. Your can sip buttermilk with your meals. Eat 1 cup of yoghurt after your meals. Another effective home remedy for acidity is chewing a few leaves of the herb Holy Basil on a daily basis. Suck on a piece of clove spice. Swallow 3 cloves of raw garlic with a glass of warm water on an empty stomach early in the morning as soon as you get up. Drink 1 glass of water every 1 hour. Eat lighter and frequent meals. Never ignore or suppress the urge to eat. Have some healthy snacks or water immediately. Do not overeat. Avoid smoking and reduce the intake of alcohol.
