Natural cure for head lice
The popular choices for removing head lice is to apply Vaseline, mayonnaise or olive oil on the scalp, wear a shower cap and leave it overnight. In the morning rinse your hair first then shampoo and condition it. The idea is that while trying to remove all these stuff from your hair you successfully remove all nits and lice.
After washing, comb your hair with a fine tooth lice comb. Use this home remedy continuously for at least 3 to 4 days.
Add some tea tree oil to your regular shampoo.
This natural remedy will cure as well as prevent the formation of lice. You try washing your hair with vinegar but discontinue it immediately if your scalp starts itching. Mix some butter with lemon juice and rub it on your scalp thoroughly. Leave it for 10 to 15 seconds and then wash your hair with shampoo and use a conditioner.
Everyday comb your hair with the lice comb. Apply coconut oil regularly. Do not share pillows, combs or clothes with a person affected with head lice and till you are completely free from it, change and wash all the above everyday in warm water.
