Home remedies for constipation
There are a lot of effective natural remedies for constipation. It can be controlled and treated naturally but you will have to be consistent in following the alternative cures.
- Bael fruit is considered to be very beneficial for regulating the bowel movement.
Eat the pulp of 1 ripe Bael fruit every morning on an empty stomach or make its juice with water and add some honey to it for taste. - Eat 1 medium-sized pear with your breakfast or after dinner everyday for preventing constipation. You can also eat 1 apple 1 hour before your meals.
- Eat guava, fibrous fruits and raw vegetable salads as they provide roughage which regulates bowels.
- Soak 4 or 5 figs in water overnight and eat it in the morning. You can also eat half a papaya for regulating bowels as they act as natural laxatives and cures and prevents constipation.
- Swallow 1 tsp of linseed with a glass of water before each meal as another home remedy.
- Mix ½ tsp of salt and squeeze the juice of half a lemon in 1 glass of hot water and drink it for better results.
- Drink warm water immediately after getting up. Have a cup of warm milk before going to bed at night daily.
