Natural remedies for weight loss
- Take ½ tsp of coconut oil several times everyday.
- After you get up in the morning, warm 1 glass of water, add 1 tsp of honey to it and drip 2 or 3 drops of lemon juice and drink it on an empty stomach. Having lukewarm water during the day also helps.
- Regular exercise, breathing techniques and taking brisk walk early in the morning will help you lose weight effectively.
- Do not follow fad diet or skip your meals. Have less of carbohydrates and make raw vegetables and fruits your staple diet. Do not eat anything heavy after 8 pm and avoid going hungry as it increases acidity and may also lead to obesity in the long run.
- Avoid tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol, junk foods, processed foods, fried foods, spices, white flour and aerated drinks. Have 2 raw tomatoes for your breakfast and have cereals and fruits in the morning. Drink lots of water and other fluids like fresh fruit juices and soups.
- Get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep and maintain regular meal times.
- Snack on healthy foods rather than tinned or fried stuff.
- You can go on an all liquid diet wherein you just drink water, fruit juices and soups for a week and follow this by having only fruits and raw vegetable salads for another week. Then you can slowly include other foods in your diet but be careful of overeating or emotional eating.
