Advice for bacterial vaginosis

Bacterial vaginosis is a condition that affects women. When a woman suffers from this condition, the balance of bacteria in her vagina is affected. The growth of certain bacteria gets out of hand. This condition results in discharge, itching, burning and sometimes even an odor. This is one of the most common infections that affect women. It usually affects women who are in the stage of being able to bear children. And in fact pregnant women are likely to be affected by this condition.

Despite research doctors are still unsure about the actual reason for some women to suffer from Bacterial Vaginosis. The vagina of any women contains some good and some bad bacteria. Bacterial Vaginosis occurs when the number of bad bacteria increases and is far more than the good bacteria. However, it has been observed that some change in the usual routine of a woman's life usually upsets the balance of the good and bad bacteria, causing Bacterial Vaginosis. Sometimes having sex with a new partner or even having sex with multiple partners can cause this condition. Some women notice a discharge with an unpleasant odor. Other women complain of a burning sensation while passing urine. However, for the most part women are often unaware  that they are actually suffering form this condition.
