Sore throat natural remedies Sore throats due to a cough or cold are easily taken care of at home. Make a mixture of half a teaspoon each of ginger juice and honey and take it thrice a day. This should help soothe your sore throat.
You can also mix together a teaspoon each of cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, black pepper powder, ginger powder and four teaspoons of powdered sugar. Half a teaspoon of this mixture taken twice a day with honey or warm water will help ease soreness. If your throat is sore due to coughing, keep a clove or a cardamom in your mouth and go to sleep with it.
This will help lessen the cough. Sip a mix of warm water, four teaspoons of honey, a quarter teaspoon of common salt and lime juice. Have a glass of hot milk with a pinch each of turmeric and pepper powder every night. This will help in healing your throat. A cocktail of carrot, cucumber and beetroot juice will also help you tremendously. Warm diluted orange juice is a good soother to the throat. Try to gargle with hot salt water as many times a day as you can. Adding a pinch of turmeric to this water will also help with healing.
