I am weaning myself off antidepressants, and feeling some withdrawal effects, like dizziness, nausea, and irritability. What herbs or natural remedies can make this transition easier, especially to eliminate the motion sickness I feel?

Control your withdrawal symptoms including motion sickness with the help of these simple home remedies and herbs –
- Ginger root is the best herb known to combat motion sickness and nausea effectively. Just suck a small ginger piece with a pinch of salt and lime juice. This would be a very effect remedy for nausea and motion sickness.
A fresh ginger ale can also be effective in that case. - When you feel dizzy try to focus on a specific steady point. This will help to deal with the dizziness.
Also don't jump directly in sleeping to standing position too soon, take your time relax, sit for a while and then stand. - Add some basil and peppermint in your diet. These two herbs are also very effective in treating motion sickness. You can sprinkle some basil leaves in your soup or pasta too.
- Maintain appropriate ventilation to provide fresh air in the room and decrease odors which can cause nausea.
- Relax and meditate, this will help you decrease irritability.
