Swimmer's ear remedies

Better known as swimmer’s ear is a classic case of otitis extrerna. Treat it before it turns into a full blown infection. First and foremost blow-dry your ear.

Use white vinegar as ear drops or a mixture of alcohol and white vinegar. This will stop the fungus & bacteria from multiplying in the ear.

The use of baby oil has also proved to be an easy and quick remedy for swimmer’s ear infection.

Heat baby oil until it is warm, use a dropper or syringe to put in the each ear. After 1or 2 minutes insert a cotton ball in the ear.  Do this before going to bed.

To avoid ear infection in the future blend some apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of distilled water. Put one drop in each ear after swimming immediately.

Another effective remedy is the use of garlic oil. Garlic has properties that kill bacteria and it is easy to procure. You could prepare garlic oil at home.
Grate 4-5 garlic cloves and put them in a bowl, pour olive oil enough to cover the cloves. Keep it soaked overnight. Filter the paste next morning until you can rinse a few drops of the oil. Put this oil in the ear three to four times a day.
