Health advice for gingivitis
  • Yes, this is gingivitis and is characterized by swollen and bleeding gums. Gargling with a glass of warm water mixed with ½ tsp of common salt will reduce the swelling.
  • Rub your gums with clove oil or keep 1 clove in your mouth and suck it.
  • Rinse your mouth with a mouthwash every night and morning.
  • Mix sage oil, peppermint oil, menthol and chamomile tincture and rinse your mouth with this once a day.
  • Brush your teeth and gum with Aloe Vera gel once a day.
  • 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide water should be mixed with equal amounts of water. Swish it in your mouth for 30 seconds and then spit it out. This solution helps in killing bacteria.
  • Mix 1 part of myrrh gum herb as granules or in a powdered form, 2 parts of white oak bark herb powder, 3/4th parts powdered peppermint leaves, ½ part of powdered or seeds of anise herb and 1/8th part clove powder and put them in a container. Brush your teeth with this powder 3 times a day or make its paste with boiled water and place it along the teeth and gums. Do not rinse your mouth; you can swallow it as the herbs are good for curing gingivitis.
