Home remedies for nose bleed
You might be allergic to some food component or too much sugar might be the trigger for nose bleed. Try the following home remedies for relief.
Roll up a small piece of gauze and place it under your upper lip and above the gums.
Wait till bleeding stops and then remove it gently.
Cut a big slice of onion and lie down. Keep your head tilted back and place it under your nose. Bleeding will stop in a few minutes as the fumes from the raw onion acts as a natural coagulant.
Using wild alum powder will immediately stop bleeding as it acts as a powerful astringent.
Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and pack your nostrils with it lightly. This will help the blood to congeal. Soak a small piece of cotton cloth with apple cider vinegar and wipe your neck area, temples and nose with it. You can add 2 tsp (1 tsp for children) of this vinegar in 1 glass of water and drink it 3 times a day to cure frequent nosebleeds.
Make cold saline solution and spray it into your nose 2 to 3 times daily.
Before using any remedy to stop nosebleed, once blow your nose hard to remove any clots. Do not blow your nose for at least 10 to 12 hours after the bleeding has stopped.
