Hi my skin has become dark,i was quite fair when i was in school and college days but now it has become dark and my skin is also getting rough. also if i go out in sun its becoming very dark. can u tell me any remedies for it?

Dark skin treatment
Hi! Do not panic! Skin color is determined to a great extent by heredity or genes. No one can choose the skin color. Melanin is the pigment causing dark skin. Excessive melanin results in hyper pigmentation. Blemishes or patches accompany the same. A pack of oats with milk is applied on the face. Rinse after half an hour. A paste of turmeric powder and lime juice acts as an effective bleach. Dried orange peels are powdered and applied with curd. It leaves a blemish less face. Tan is removed by placing raw cut potato slices. This also enhances the tone of the skin. A natural face pack made of a teaspoon each of lemon juice, milk powder and honey with half a teaspoon of almond oil. This pack rejuvenates the ski. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water. A paste of oats and grated almond with curd or milk. It is used as an exfoliating scrub. Excessive exposure to sun's rays results in tanning or darkening of the skin. Lichen simplex chronicus is a skin disorder, associated with patches and dark skin.
