Natural Treatment for Asthma

Epinephrine and ephedrine are the most effective over the counter medicines that have shown rewarding results in solving the cases of asthma. Other over the counter medicines known for treating asthma includes corticosteroids, beclomethasone, flunisolide anticholinergics and ipratropium bromide.

All these medicines act by relaxing the muscles of the airways, thereby allowing flow of air in and out of the lungs more easily.


But, I would rather advise you to go for home remedies than take over the counter medicines.
You try some of the following home remedies for curing asthma and if you don’t feel any improvement then consult a physician.

• Prepare a mixture of half tsp of cinnamon powder and consume it.
  
  
  
• Boil few cloves of garlic in one cup of milk and consume every night.
• Soak 3-4 dry figs in one cup of water and leave overnight. Every morning get up and drink the water with soaked figs empty stomach.
• Sip the mixture of 1 tsp of honey and hot before sleeping to drain phlegm from the throat.
• Soak 1 tsp of Fenugreek seeds overnight and strain the water in the morning. Add 1 tsp of Ginger juice and 1 tsp of honey to the strained water and drink it early in the morning.
