Home Cure for Scabies

Scabies is a skin infestation caused by mite infection and characterized by burrows, itching and secondary infection.

• Here is some of the most effective home cure for scabies that may benefit you or your children when treating scabies.
• Prepare a fresh juice of apricot leaves and apply over the infected skin area. It proves to be beneficial for treating scabies.
• Prepare a paste of margosa leaves and an equal quantity of turmeric powder blended with mustard oil. Application of this paste all over the body shows amazing results when it comes to healing lesions when suffering from scabies. Let the paste stay for about 2-3 hours and then take a bath.
• Powdered form of dried bark of peepul tree is significantly used as a dusting powder on lesions. This powder will help in healing the lesions.
• Take 400 - 500 gm of drumstick leaves and extract juice. Pour an equal amount of sesame seed oil in the juice and boil till the water completely evaporates. Cool the mixture and apply daily over the infected skin. Both drumstick and sesame seed oil holds strong anti-microbial properties.
• Avoid sharing articles such as towel, bed sheets and cloths because scabies is an infectious disease.
