Home Remedies for Tooth Pain

Tooth pain is one of the most unbearable pains. Home remedies for tooth pain are very effective.
Following are some of the home remedies that can help you relieve tooth ache:

  1. Clove in any form is the best home remedy for tooth pain.


    You can either directly suck a clove or dip in rock salt and apply as a paste on the affected tooth. You can even drop a drop of clove oil on the affected tooth to relieve pain.
  2. Place a raw onion on the affected tooth.


  3. Lime juice is also beneficial for tooth ache.
  4. Prepare a juice of wheat grass and drink it.
  5. Don't use the affected tooth to eat and bite any food.
  6. You can also use an ice cube on the ached tooth.
  7. Herbs like walnut, butternut, calendula, calendula officinalis and marigold are some of the effective herbs to relive tooth ache.
  8. Rinse mouth with salty water after each meal and before sleep.
  9. Massage your gums and teeth well with ice cube.
  10. It is believed that whiskey also cures tooth pain.
  11. You can also gently floss your teeth.
  12. Mix a clove of fresh garlic and peanut butter. Blend it to a paste and apply on the tooth.
  13. Take asafetida and pour few drops of lemon juice over it. Soak a piece of cotton in the mixture and dab it over the tooth and gum.
