Malaria treatment

Try the following simple and effective home remedies for malaria -

1. A cold pad can be applied on patient's forehead to help lower the temperature. However do not use ice or ice water, simply use tap water.
2. To lower the intensity of fever, prepare a mixture by mixing 20 ml holy basil juice and 2-3 g of black pepper powder.
   
   
   Drink this (even a tea can be prepared using these ingredients) when the fever is not present.
3. Quinine like substances present in grapefruit helps in the treatment of malaria.
4. Boil 1 tsp of cinnamon powder in water.
   
   
   To this add a tsp of honey and a dash of pepper powder before drinking.
5. Malaria can take a serious turn if the malaria parasite blocks the tiny blood vessels in the brain. In this severe condition a person may lose consciousness and if appropriate measures are not taken death can also occur.
