What to do to lighten the dark skin of hands

The skin on the hands gets exposed to the sun often when a person prefers wearing short sleeves or sleeveless clothes.
Try the following home remedies to lighten the skin on your hands -
Always wear a sunscreen lotion with appropriate SPF 20 minutes before stepping out in sun to avoid further tanning. Prefer carrying an umbrella or wearing full sleeves if you are moving out between 11 am to 4 pm, a s this is the time when the UV rays are at its harsh level.
Rub a slice of lemon on the hand and leave it for 20-25 minutes. Lemon will help to lighten your skin tone if used on regular basis.
Avoid using razor as a method of hair removal as it can cause a darker skin tone if used on regular basis.
Cut a raw potato and rub the inner portion on the hands and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes before washing.
Break open a vitamin E capsule in olive oil and use this oil to massage on your hands.
