how to cure painful earache

Ear ache occurs commonly and it can range from slight pain to extremely painful. This occurs when the Eustachian tubes are blocked and there is fluid build up leading to infections. Earaches happen due to cold, formation of excess wax, sinus infection, and change in pressure while traveling by plane, infections in the ear.
Certain home remedies that can be useful for earaches are:-
- Do not fiddle with ears by inserting cotton swabs, hair pins or finger as it can injure the ears. Use earplugs while swimming and avoid smoking as it can increase the chance of infections.
- Place heating pad on the aching ear for few minutes.
- Grind few basil leaves and extract the juice. Add 2 drops of this juice in to the aching ears.
- Pour some garlic juice in the achy ears, it can be helpful as its antibiotic properties can bring relief from pain.
- Enhance the intake of Vitamin C and zinc in the diet as it can boost our immune system and can kill the infection.
- Clean your ears regularly with professional help as it can remove the dirt and bacteria from the ears.
