Cold Sore Natural Treatment

Cold sores are a form of herpes. But, don't be alarmed. You can completely cure this quickly by taking Olive leaf Extract.

If you continue the treatment of Olive Leaf Extract for at least three weeks after your cold sore is gone, you should be rid of them for good. However, you will need to change your tooth brush as these are a breeding ground for the herpes virus and can reinfect you time and time again. To ease some of the pain of the cold sore while you are waiting for the olive leaf extract to work its magic, try applying a warm compress of whole milk to the sore.

Something that I have found works very well is petroleum jelly as it keeps the sore softened so that it does not crack and bleed as it would normally, this is especially helpful for sores at the corner of your mouth there they get stretched a lot. Cold sores are also called fever blisters. They are no fun, but you can solve the problem effectively with a simple herbal treatment and some petroleum jelly. If you are allergic to petroleum jelly, some emu oil or cocoa butter work just as well.
