The best way to lose fat that is causing you to be overweight or have a high body fat percentage is of course , to eliminate excess fat from your diet . By replacing an excess fat with lean proteins such as those found in tuna fish , chicken , beans , and eggs you will immediately start decreasing your overall body fat . Additionally, exercise is very important . Unless you exercise regularly , it is best to start out slowly . This will allow your body to adjust to the exercise. Drinking and extra water will help flush the fat from your cells. You can also burn access fat by drinking four to eight cups of green tea each day . Always make sure that your consuming the correct number of calories for your daily requirement . if you are consuming too few calories, you will not only be losing fat, but your body will start to consume muscle tissue as well to provide adequate fuel. Avoiding chemical weight loss supplements is important due to the side effects of these drugs, which can include stroke, heart attack, and death.  It is important for all of us to decrease our consumption of fatty foods and foods that are high in sugar. A diet that is made up largely of whole foods that are in their natural form is the best for maintaining a healthy balance.
