Rashes on penis occur due to heavy sweating, infection, wearing tight clothes or itching on the penis. A wash is used for adults having inflammation. It consists of general wash which can be applied on the start of infection as well as astringent wash which will help in drying up of skin thus decreasing the build up of microorganisms.
Wash is gentle and devoid of any chemical that can irritate the skin. It dries up faster thus decreasing the infection. It can be applied many times without causing irritation. A wash of organic apple cider vinegar and distilled water can be used for cleaning genital areas daily for long period of time. It is safe and have good aroma and can provide soothing relief to the private areas. The herbs that can be used for wash are witch hazel, raspberry leaf and golden seal. Wash dries clearly and kills the bacteria thus making the skin clean. However wash cannot be used to treat sexually transmitted infection. Avoid sex until the rashes and infection is clear.
Apart from these, general hygiene is essential for clean skin. Avoid wearing too tight under garments as it can lead to sweating and itching leading to rashes. Use medicated soaps on private parts; wash the private parts thoroughly after urination.
If rashes still persists, it is advisable to meet the specialist regarding the problem.
