Pimples home remedies
i never had pimples on face. but now i have.i m 23 yrs old.my bowel movements are too frequent.please advice

Pimples occur due to hormonal action on the skin leading to plugged pores called blackheads. When these blackheads get inflamed, it can lead to pimples. Pimples generally occur on our face, neck, chest, arms and shoulders. It tends to increase with too much of touching and fiddling with dirty hands. Pimples occur due to faulty eating habits like wrong timing for meals, consuming too much of starch, sugar and fatty foods. Infrequent bowel movement can also be the reason for pimples. Allergic reactions to certain foods like papaya, eggs, garlic, glycerin, oranges or lemon can lead to formation of pimples as one of the symptoms of allergy.
Home remedies that can be adopted to cure pimples that are formed are:-
- Avoid foods with refined sugar or refined wheat. Prefer fiber foods like fruits, vegetables or pulses as these foods have low glycemic index thus decreasing the rate by which these foods get broken down to glucose and enter the blood stream.
- Apply a paste of roasted and powdered pomegranate skin with lime juice and apply on the face for few minutes.
- Drinking wheat grass juice is effective against pimples.
- Apply a mixture of 1 tablespoon groundnut oil and 1 tablespoon lime juice on the affected area.
- A paste of fine oatmeal and natural yogurt can be applied on the face. Allow it to dry and wash with lukewarm water. After this topical application of any mild lotion can be done on the face.
- A dose of 50 mgs Zinc three times daily is beneficial for clear skin.
