Ovarian pain can be due to different reasons including ovarian cysts, or endometriosis. Try the following home remedies along with your prescribed medications to ease the pain –
Apply warm compress on the lower pelvic side, back side and on the side which is in pain. Also include warm fluids like warm water, hot soups and broths in your diet.
If warm compress is not working for you try applying cold compresses. Fill some ice cubes in a plastic bag and apply it on the lower abdominal region with pain for relief.
Simple exercise like walking will also help to decrease your ovarian pain.
To reduce inflammations include fish in your diet. It is a good source of omega 3 fatty acid and a natural antiprostaglandin. Cut down the caffeine in your daily diet.
If intercourse also causes pain then try different positions and see which are better for you, also some natural lubricant can be used to ease the pain caused during intercourse.
