Silky hair home care

Many culprits like sun, dust, pollution in the air, wind and harsh chemicals contribute to degrade the quality of hair and make them rough.

Try the following home remedies to get smooth and silky locks.

• Lavender oil has excellent properties to make hair soft.
  
  
  Massage it for 15-20 minutes and tie the hair in a hot towel for 30 minutes. Wash it off with warm water and see the results. Never use very hot water to wash your hair.
• Consider deep conditioning once a week. This will make your hair super soft and silky. However never apply the conditioner on the scalp (as it can cause hair loss).
• After you wash your hair make the last rinse with beer or diluted vinegar. Beer will help to make your hair feel soft and silky.
• Let your hair dry naturally. Minimize the use of artificial dryers, harsh chemicals, straightening, coloring or curling products.
• Eat a healthy well balanced diet and include lots of water daily to hydrate yourself. Minimize your stress levels and consider wearing a scarf or taking an umbrella when you step out in sun.
