Try the following home remedies to ease your bladder infection -
  • E. coli bacterium is the major cause for the pain in your bladder. This bacterium multiplies almost double the time every twenty minutes if not flushed out of the body.

This simply means more the amount of bacteria; more will be the amount of pain.
  • To relieve pain and inflammation in the bladder a hot soothing bath taken twice or thrice daily helps.
  • Drink lots of fluids in the form of plain water, coconut water, barley water, fresh unsweetened fruit juices, vegetable juices and lime water to flush these bacteria from the bladder.

    Fewer bacteria less pain.
  • Increase in the intake of vitamin C helps. This can be done naturally by including indian gooseberry, guava, citrus fruits and lemons in your diet.
  • It is important to maintain personal hygiene to reduce the infection and pain. Wear clean panties, visit the bathroom before and after having a sexual intercourse, wear sanitary napkins instead of tampon when you menstruate and avoid tight fitted synthetic clothing.
