Laryngitis natural cures
Do you have a natural cure for laryngitis. I am on day 4. Can only whisper. no sore throat anymore, just can't talk regular. Some mild sinus symptoms, too. THANKS

Try the following simple home remedies for laryngitis -
- Moisturize your vocal cords by inhaling steam from boiling water. Do not choose warm water gargling as the sound which is created due to gargling at the back of the throat leaves the vocal cords in an irritated state and moreover the salt water does not reach the vocal cords.
- Use a humidifier in your bedroom while you sleep in the night, this will also help to keep your vocal cords moisturized.
- Speak less. Although as you said that you can only whisper, do not whisper as it can cause more harm.
- To soothe your vocal cords drink an herbal tea by boiling fresh ginger with honey, and lemon in water.
Slippery elm bark tea is also a good home remedy for laryngitis. - Sip warm liquids. This can be done in the form of warm water, vegetable soups / chicken broths, and herbal teas. Drink more water to keep your larynx moist.
- Completely avoid smoking and alcohol.
