Hair loss is a commonly seen condition especially in adolescents. Keeping the hair clean and hygienic is important. Improper lifestyle, poor eating habits and harsh chemicals result in hair loss.
Application of onion juice helps in hair growth. Acacia concinna, sapindus mucorosai and gooseberry is boiled in water and applied as a shampoo. Honey and egg yolk acts as a good agent for hair loss prevention. It is allowed to stand for half an hour. A paste of lime seeds and black pepper is applied regularly. The pulp of raw mango is allowed in a bottle of coconut oil for a year. This proves beneficial against hair loss. Hibiscus leaves shade dried and boiled in coconut oil is helpful. It can be filtered and used on the scalp. Consumption of a teaspoon of cider vinegar in a glass of water is helpful. A paste of triphala powder and aloe vera paste, applied regularly provides result. Overnight soaked fenugreek seeds should be ground and applied on the scalp. This paste is applied after soaking the hair with oil. Hot towel technique is one of the age old and effective technique existing. Cover the hair with a warm and moist towel for 15 to 20 minutes.
